Event Description
Can CBD reduce pain after strenuous exercise? Join us to examine a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled feasibility trial of a CBD-rich hemp extract in healthy young adults. We will discuss pain and strength outcomes, blinding, and what this small study can—and cannot—tell us about recovery and clinical use.
Key takeaway: Pain scores and strength loss favored CBD at 48 hours, but time to recovery did not differ significantly. No adverse reactions were reported in this small trial; larger studies are needed to establish efficacy and characterize safety.
