Event Description:
In this journal club, we’ll explore the emerging clinical implications of cannabinoids in the treatment of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), drawing from a recent article published in Muscle & Nerve by Denton et al. (2025). We’ll examine how cannabinoid signaling intersects with ALS pathophysiology and what this could mean for therapeutic development. The article offers a synthesis of preclinical and clinical findings and evaluates current gaps in research and care.
