Event Description:

This journal club will examine a recent meta-analysis by Storck et al., which pooled data from 24 studies and reported significant associations between cannabis use and major adverse cardiovascular events—including acute coronary syndrome, stroke, and cardiovascular mortality.

We’ll explore the methods behind the headlines: How strong is the evidence? What are the limitations of the study designs included? And how should clinicians interpret and apply these findings in real-world practice?

Join us for a critical conversation on causality, confounding, and the consequences of publication bias in shaping public and clinical perceptions of risk.
